Reviews

Ekathimerini newspaper (Athens, Greece): "A Westerner finding Athens warm and welcoming in December of 2009 - as startling reports emerge of the Greek debt crisis - makes for a story worth retelling... the book is a thought-provoking, well-paced account ... Years spent living in the Middle East give Cade a unique perspective". Neos Kosmos newspaper (Melbourne, Australia): "The author's ability to dredge up odd historical curiosa will impress even veteran visitors to the city... Comprehensive detours into the stories of famous Greek musicians and artists are equally intriguing." Beatties Book Blog (Auckland, New Zealand): "I was immediately arrested by his 20-page introduction wherein he explains his fascination with all things Greek and offers readers a comprehensive, liberal, up-to-date, and entertaining view of the capital of Modern Greece."
