About the Author

Libby VanderPloeg is an illustrator living and working in Brooklyn. She spends her days drawing and painting flora and fauna of all varieties, preferring to work with a strong cup of coffee always at arms reach. Her work has been featured in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The Boston Globe, and Design*Sponge, and in books from Farrar, Straus & Giroux, HarperCollins, and Hardie Grant Books. She has previously illustrated Bowie A to Z for Smith Street Books. Steve Wide is a DJ and writer who hosts a long-running British music radio show. He has run many legendary club nights and has interviewed countless artists, from Noel Gallagher to Björk. Steve’s previous titles in this series include Bowie A to Z, Prince A to Z, Grace Jones A to Z and The Beatles A to Z.

Steve Wide is a Melbourne DJ and writer. He has run some of the most enduring indie and retro club nights in Melbourne, and DJ'd for international acts like Primal Scream, Happy Mondays, The Shamen, Saint Etienne and Stone Roses as well as interviewing Jarvis Cocker and Noel Gallagher in front of festival crowds. He has interviewed countless UK music artists from John Lydon to Johnny Marr and comedians Bill Bailey, Noel Fielding and Russell Brand. He has Dj'd many festivals including The Falls and Moomba's "Silent Disco". He presents the long running new British music show "Far and Wide". As well as making Children's books he has recently released a book on Tokyo shopping and eating called "Tokyo Precincts". He has a fish called Ziggy Stardust.
