Tom Philbin is a long-time freelance writer with over 44 books to his credit, including Cop Speak for which he won the 1997 Quill and Badge Award from the International Union of Police Associations. He has also written for Reader's Digest, Parade and Women's Day. He lives in Centerport, New York.
