Devotional book for the family
Paul Reynolds is a member of First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman. He and his wife Rachael have two children, Jude and Alice. Paul enjoys photography, and writing about, watching and coaching baseball.
Paul Reynolds has written an excellent resource for children,
parents and churches. This book navigates the 66 books of the
Bible, leading always to the Savior. If you use this book, your
children will hear the gospel to the praise and glory of God and
our Savior Jesus Christ.
*John and Keri Folmar (Senior Pastor, United Christian Church of
Dubai; Author)*
Ever wonder how so many different books belong to the same volume,
the Bible? Here is a most lively, memorable, and engaging
expedition through every book of Holy Scripture. While the
different authors, characters and modes are recognized and
explored, everything in them centers on the one fundamental truth:
the gospel of Jesus Christ. The illustrations are vivid,
unforgettable. The choice of verses from each book brings-out their
unique contribu-tion, and at the same time points to the great
message that makes the sixty six books a vital part of the same
story: God's relentless pursuit of his people in order to bring
them into his covenant of grace. This guide makes the entire Bible
really accessible. Families and small groups, parishes as well as
individuals should use it to great effect. There is nothing quite
like it.
*William Edgar (Professor of Apologetics, Westminster Theological
Seminary, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)*
It is so exciting to see God's beautiful tale of redemption through
stories of the Bible unfolded in a format such as 66BoS. The
questions, references, thread, and overview all point to knowing
God as our rescuer and hero. I look forward with anticipation to
using this devotion with my children, young adult Bible studies,
and as a gift to others seeking to know the truth. 66 Books One
Story is a wonderful tool to see the consistency of who God was,
is, and always will be.
*Joani Burchett, mother of five boys aged 5-15*
"66 Books, 1 Story is an excellent teaching and reference resource
for elementary children's ministry, Sunday School, or home
schooling. Each chapter provides a basic introduction and overview
of each Bible book as well as key teaching points. The "Salvation
Thread" section relates the message of the book to the overarching
message of the Bible. I'm thankful for such a well-written resource
that will provide an excellent supplement both for teaching and
family devotions.
*Jared Kennedy (Family Pastor, Sojourn Community Church in
Louisville, Kentucky)*
"This book is written to equip both children and their parents in
this holy ambition of knowing Christ better and loving Christ more
than anything else we know and love in this world."
*Thabiti Anyabwile (Pastor, Anacostia River Church, Washington,
D.C.)*
