About the Author

Living in Wisconsin, Terese Poehnelt has seen her share of snowflakes. But the ones she likes best are crocheted. The inspiration for this book of 99 snowflakes came when she was a vendor at a craft fair and a young woman remarked that she was collecting snowflakes, 'each one different, each one unique', that intrigued Terese, and she started experimenting. Other favourite crochet projects are doilies and ornaments.
