May Busch faced a wide range of challenges during her 24-year career in investment banking. From hiring the wrong people to be being shifted out of jobs and passed over for promotions, she experienced just about every pitfall, setback and misfortune the corporate world can dish out. However, those mistakes empowered May to learn what it takes to succeed in a changing workplace, achieving her goal of becoming a Managing Director and, ultimately, Morgan Stanley's Chief Operating Officer for Europe. Now, she is using the hard lessons she learned to help other achievers take ownership of their careers and enjoy a faster, smoother climb to success. Through her international consulting practice based in the U.K., May Busch & Associates Ltd, May works with senior management of corporations and professional services firms on organizational strategy, leadership development, and client effectiveness. She offers workshops, keynotes, consulting and executive coaching to high-potential and high-performance leaders and their teams, focusing on bringing her insights and experiences to help them advance their organizations and to promote greater thought leadership, diversity and entrepreneurial spirit in the workplace. May also serves as a Senior Advisor in the Office of the President and Professor of Practice at W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, and has lectured at Imperial College Business School, Cass Business School, Stanford University's Clayman Institute for Gender Research, and Harvard University's Office of Career Services.
