About the Author

Chris Achilleos was born in Cyprus in 1947. In 1960, he moved to London where, after leaving art college in 1968, he began to find work illustrating book covers and pin-ups. His subsequent career included work on a variety of book covers, most notably Doctor Who and Star Trek, role-playing games, erotic pinups and movie posters. He quickly gained a reputation as one of the best science fiction/fantasy artists in the world - a status he still holds today.
