About the Author

Frank Beddor Frank Beddor, author of The Looking Glass Wars, lives in Los Angeles. Frank is the CEO of Automatic Pictures, a film, television, and interactive game production company. He produced the hit film There's Something About Mary, which grossed $385 million worldwide for 20th Century Fox. Telling the 'real' story behind Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, Frank Beddor's trilogy - The Looking Glass Wars Seeing Red and ArchEnemy - earned him a place on the New York Times bestseller list Beddor began his producing career selling his first original story treatment Whiteout to Paramount Pictures, which tells the story of the 10th Mountain Division, the first skiing and climbing troops that fought a secret mission during World War II. Beddor hails from Minneapolis, and attended the University of Utah, where he trained for the U.S. Ski Team. One of the world's foremost freestyle skiers, Beddor competed in the sport for five years, and was twice crowned World Champion. He began his entertainment career doing endorsements and commercials when director Peter Markle hired him to perform the skiing stunts for the comedy Hot Dog The Movie. He then doubled John Cusack for the actor's ski stunts in the comedy Better Off Dead. Trading the alpine slopes for the Hollywood Hills, Frank has acted alongside Emilio Estevez, Carrie Fisher, Chris Penn, Jennifer Tilly and Kevin Dillon.
