This is the only money guide you'll ever need That's a bold claim, given there are already thousands of finance books on the shelves. So what makes this one different? Well, you won't be overwhelmed with a bunch of 'tips' ? or a strict budget (that you won't follow). You'll get a step-by-step formula: open this account, then do this; call this person, and say this; invest money here, and not there. All with a glass of wine in your hand. This book will show you how to create an entire financial plan that is so simple you can sketch it on the back of a serviette ? and you'll be able to manage your money in 10 minutes a week. You'll also get the skinny on: * Saving up a six-figure house deposit in 20 months * Doubling your income using the 'Trapeze Strategy' * Saving $78,173 on your mortgage and wiping out 7 years of payments * Finding a financial advisor who won't rip you off * Handing your kids (or grandkids) a $140,000 cheque on their 21st birthday * Why you don't need $1 million to retire ? with the 'Donald Bradman Retirement Strategy' Sound too good to be true? It's not. This book is full of stories from everyday Aussies ? single people, young families, empty nesters, retirees ? who have applied the simple steps in this book and achieved amazing, life-changing results. And you're next.

I can't believe how much money this book is going to save me. I have never been very good at saving, but this book truly has the best easy to follow step-by-step instructions to put me on the right path to financial freedom. Written in a really easy to understand format, I highly recommend this to ANYONE who wants to apply simple steps in their life to achieve amazing (almost life changing) results. I especially loved that all the investment advice is independent, rather than linking to a certain financial body or bank. Scott Pape writes in such a way that it feels like he is sitting right next to you whilst you work you way through the book.
I am excited for the future genuinely because of this book. Buy it straight away! It's absolutely the best gift I have given myself this year.

This is a really great book. BUT... A WARNING! at the back, he gives his email address and asks that you write and tell him how the book helped you. BE WARNED! do not give him personal information. he will turn your kind letter into a question and will put ALL OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION in the newspaper, on his blog and in his email newsletters. i wrote to thank him, when i started the book i was in utter despair and shock at what i had discovered about my partner. i blurted out the whole crappy story and all our money troubles. after reading the book, i felt that i would be ok. i could turn this around and handle it. i wanted to say thank you, but this was then printed in the paper with enough identifying information that i had neighbours knocking on my door and people ringing me up to say that they saw it in the paper! DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL DETAILS THAT YOU WOULD NOT WANT SHARED VERY PUBLICLY

This is hands down the best book I have brought. I recommend this book to every person I come into contact with. It is an absolute must read for everyone, I liked it so much that I brought copies for my nephew who is 19. I wish I could have read this at his age (20 years earlier) but I'm confident that I can follow Scott's advice and still achieve a financially comfortable life.

Quality general advice that would be of tremendous benefit to the vast majority of Australians. Incredibly easy read and the advice is step-by-step, so very easy to action. Wish I'd had something like this at my fingertips when I was younger.

My son has been recommending this book to the whole family. The book contains very sound advice, easy to follow instructions. I feel like I have set myself up for a reasonable retirement. I have a better sense of what the future might look like now and that's the making of good peace of mind. I recommend this book.
