Bishop Ithiel C. Clemmons is a member of the COGIC General Board, the Church's Historian, and the Jurisdictional Prelate of Eastern New York First Jurisdiction. Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches of North America (PCCNA), Bishop Clemmons is also the past President of the Society for Pentecostal Studies (SPS).
