About the Author

Melinda Metz is the author of more than sixty books for teens and kids, including the YA series Roswell High (basis of the TV show Roswell) and Echoes. Her middle-grade mystery Wright and Wong: Case of the Nana-Napper (co-authored by the fabulous Laura J. Burns) was a juvenile Edgar finalist. Melinda lives in Concord, North Carolina, with her dog, Scully, a pen-eater just like the dog who came before her.

Bri learns a lot of good lessons in this book, like she should be herself. She is amazing just the way she is, and that is why parents like for her to babysit their kids!
