About the Author

Dorothy Wood is a creative designer who trained to teach dressmaking and design technology before specialising in embroidery and textiles at Goldsmith’s College, London. She has since worked in a variety of craft media and is the author of 50 Victorian Needlecraft Designs, The Ultimate Cross Stitch Companion and The Practical Encyclopedia of Soft Furnishings.
