About the Author

Martin Heidegger (1889-1976) is regarded as one of the twentieth century's most important philosophers. Ingo Farin is Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Tasmania, Australia. He is the translator (with James G. Hart) of Husserl's The Basic Problems of Phenomenology (Springer, 2006).
