About the Author

Budd Lewis (1948-2014) was comic book writer who wrote several Creepy, Eerie, and Vampirella books. He also worked in the movie industry as an animator, designer, storyboard artist, and director.

Len Wein cocreated Swamp Thing early in a writing career that has included work on every major hero and villain at both DC Comics and Marvel Comics. As a writer, Wein is also credited with cocreating Wolverine for Marvel and Lucius Fox for DC. Wein was one of the editors on Watchmen and has also been editor in chief at both Marvel Comics and Disney Comics before settling in to a successful career writing comic books and animation.

Carmine Infantino (1925-2013) was a comic book illustrator, penciller, and editor known for his work on the Silver Age editions of Detective Comics, The Flash, Showcase, Creepy, Eerie, and Star Wars. Infantino is a member of the Will Eisner Hall of Fame, as well as the winner of multiple Alley Awards and an Inkpot Award.

Pablos Marcos is a comic book artist, penciller, and inker know for his naturalistic style. Marcos worked Creepy, Nightmare, Thor, Teen Titans, and The Avengers. Marcos is considered to be one of the greatest cartoonists in his home country of Peru.
