About the Author

Patrick Diamond is Senior Lecturer in Public Policy, Queen Mary, University of London and Chair of the Policy Network think-tank. He is the former Head of Policy Planning in Number Ten Downing Street. Patrick’s publications include Endgame for the Centre Left? The Retreat of Social Democracy across Europe; Can Labour Win?
