About the Author

Marcia Williams is a critically acclaimed author–illustrator who has illustrated and retold many literary classics for children with her distinctive comic-strip style. Among her most popular titles are: Lizzie Bennet's Diary, Les Miserables, Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, The Adventures of Robin Hood and King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. She is also the author of eight illustrated young readers, which re-tell the most popular plays and stories of William Shakespeare and Charles Dickens. Marcia lives in London, SW13.
