About the Author

Storm Constantine: is the creator of the Wraeththu Mythos, the first trilogy of which was published in the 1980s, which was boundary-breaking science fantasy. She has since written a further 21 novels, across genres, (including Hermetech and Burying the Shadow), and is currently working on a book of 3 linked novellas. Storm has 88 published short stories, 10 full-length non-fiction titles, including Sekhem Heka and Whatnots and Curios, (both through Immanion Press) and 10 short story collections, including Splinters of Truth (NewCon Press 2016). She is the founder of Immanion Press, created initially to publish her out-of-print back catalogue, but which evolved into the thriving venture it is today. Her interests include magic and spirituality, movies, music and MMOs. She is a long-time fan of weird fiction and old ghost stories, of which she has a large collection. She lives in the Midlands of the UK, with her husband and four demanding cats. She tweets so rarely it's not really worth mentioning, but has a blog she makes every effort to update now and again at https: //dreamsofdarkangels.wordpress.com/ Paul Houghton studied fine art, and then creative writing at UEA, under Malcolm Bradbury and Angela Carter. His first novel won a Society of Authors Betty Trask Award and he has since published stories in magazines and anthologies such as Panurge, The Fiction Magazine, Cutting Teeth, Mouth, Gutter Magazine, You Are Here (edited by Bill Broady) and Magical (edited by Kelly Ann Jacobson). He has worked as a freelance journalist, a screenwriter and a Writer-in-Residence working in various settings: libraries, prisons, hospitals and literary festivals, as well as being the recipient of several writing fellowships in the USA: at Yaddo, The MacDowell Colony, and The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. His short art films have been shown in the ICA, and he co-wrote, directed and produced Faith, a short weird film for Scottish TV. He is currently writing a Gothic novel under PhD supervision and working as a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Staffordshire University.
