About the Author

Lily Zheng is an organizational consultant, executive coach, and design researcher who works with organizations to create healthy, inclusive, and innovative workplaces. A coauthor of Gender Ambiguity in the Workplace, she has written for dozens of media outlets, including the New York Times, Quartz at Work, Entrepreneur, and Psychology Today. Zheng frequently speaks at companies such as Google, Affirm, and Entelo. She has received the Lyons Award for Service, the Outstanding Achievement Award, and the President's Award for Excellence through Diversity from Stanford University.

Inge Hansen, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist and leads the Outreach, Equity and Inclusion program for Counseling and Psychological Services at Stanford University. She is the co-founder and Director of the Weiland Health Initiative at Stanford. Dr. Hansen also co-founded Gender-Inclusive Stanford, a campus-wide initiative dedicated to creating a better environment for transgender and non-binary students. She co-organizes and hosts the global event World Sexual Health Day on behalf of North America.
