About the Author

Kevin Handreck is one of Australia's foremost horticultural consultants, having retired from CSIRO's Division of Soils in Adelaide after a long and distinguished career in soils research and communication. He was awarded the Nursery Industry Association's Award of Merit in 1990, and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Horticulture.
