Jim Davis is a cartoonist best known as the creator of Garfield, the most widely syndicated strip in the world. Winner of four Emmy Awards, Davis has also been inducted into the Licensing Hall of Fame and is a two-time winner of the Best Humor Strip Award from the National Cartoonist Society as well as a recipient of its coveted Elzie Segar Award and Reuben Award.
