Anne Dixon has been weaving since she was 12 years old. She works on a variety of looms and has wide experience of many different weaving techniques. She also lectures, demonstrates and teaches on various weaving skills. Anne has written a number of booklets and articles for both US and UK publications and her work is exhibited around the world. She is a Guild member of the Association of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers, and a founding member of the Braid Society.
The Handweaver’s Pattern Directory by Anne Dixon is a very
well-known pattern book in the weaving world. It also happens to be
one of my favorites. [...] I use it any time I want to weave
patterns on my floor loom. I also recommend it left and right to my
students because, yeah, it is that good.
