Des Hammill is a professional engineer with huge experience of building successful and reliable racing engines and solving the problems associated with all aspects of high performance applications. Des has written many of Veloce's SpeedPro series books, as well as a book on Coventry Climax Racing Engines.

The original book is long out of print, but now it's back, revised and updated, and still just as relevant ... a mine of information American Car Magazine. Some books come and go while others become perennial favourites. Des Hammill's Holley maintenance manual is clearly one of the latter, with the ideal balance of knowledge, instruction and illustration. It's detailed, well written and clearly illustrated with colour photos. This may be the only book you'll need to identify, overhaul and improve your Holley.- Classic American.
