Ricky Burns has been an avid restorer of motorcycles since the 1970s. Having personally restored many classic motorbikes of the same era, from small Yamaha 2-strokes, all the way up to large multi-cylinder machines, he has decided to share his experience and knowledge of restoring classic motorbikes with like-minded enthusiasts. Having completed his first book, The Beginner's Guide to Classic Motorcycle Restoration, he did not rest his pen for long. Aiming to connect with all the Suzuki Triple restorers out there, he decided to dedicate his evenings to a Suzuki restoration, and this new book was born. Ricky was born in East Ham in London, and now lives in Tattershall, Lincolnshire.
Packed with information, tips, advice and tricks, it's clear that author and serial-restorer Ricky Burns is very well acquainted with the innards of these classic Japanese smokies. Sump indispensable Moto Storiche d' Epoca/Moto Tecnica an excellent guide for anyone who is thinking of buying and/or restoring one of these three cylinder bikes. Bike Rider Magazine
