BILL WISE is a retired middle school teacher who now writes full-time. In addition to teaching math and English, he coached baseball and basketball (his favorite sport) for many years. Bill has written five children's books. His picture book biography Louis Sockalexis: Native American Baseball Pioneer earned the International Reading Association's primary nonfiction book award. He lives in Maine.

REBECCA EVANS started drawing as soon as she could hold a crayon and just never stopped. She has authored and/or illustrated nineteen picture books and nine middle-grade readers. Rebecca lives in Maryland and enjoys spending time with her husband and four young children.
