'"There's something about this small but perfectly formed little
book which really appeals to all the senses. Firstly, it's just the
right size to hold comfortably and the beauty of its cover draws
the eye…Ikigai is warm and gentle, thought provoking and
enlightening and a real oasis of calm in a sometimes deeply
troubled world.” ' - Jaffa Reads Too
'"This book is beautifully illustrated with photographs by Michael
Kenna…I often mentally take one of these pictures and focus on it
during my meditation.” ' - CountryWives
'“[Michael Kenna’s photographs] are an excellent compliment to the
text and succeed in making Ikigai a beautiful book visually as well
as literally.” ' - Madam J-Mo
'“[Ikigai] is a beautifully presented oasis of calm in a frenetic
world. I thought it represented katachi (the direct connection
between the beauty in the creator’s soul and the object of their
craft) flawlessly and I loved it.”' - Linda’s BookBag
