About the Author

My name is Tim Clark, and I'm 46 years old. By today's standard, middle aged I suppose, and being in the middle is something I've grown very used to over all of my years. I was the middle kid in my family, medium-sized, and of average intelligence. By all accounts, by any standard one could measure by, I'm the personification of the "average Joe." I'm an off-the-shelf 40 regular, not bad looking but nothing to write home about, for sure. I can run faster than about half the guys I know and made it through college, as you might guess, somewhere towards the middle of my class. However, gradually it began to occur to me, that this ordinary average life of mine has been quite extraordinary indeed and rather hilarious at times.

Reviews

Well we got the book in the mail and though I haven't had a chance to read it I can give you a good opinion so far. Katia is reading it and while reading it has laughed uncontrollably. She says you are a great storyteller so I thought I'd just let you know that it is a hit. Take care buddy! Loved the book! Tim you are a true story teller in every way, shape and form. I felt I was with you in all your little adventures! Thanks for taking me along with you in a day in the life of an average Joe. Tim after I read that one short story out loud to mom and Anthony on the way home from Mendon I had to stop and gather myself before continuing the paragraphs. You brought me back to a sad day in my life but yet put a smile on my face all in the same. I am going to continue the short stories and know they are going to be GREAT!! You have made my aunt Theresa and Papa proud as well as all the PEZZUOLO'S! If the rest of the book is as good as the first two chapters I am a fan! I have laughed, related and nearly cried. The Eugene story was so well written - I could almost see myself in that lunch room with you and the story about the beach with your kids - what a hooooot! Hey Tim, just an update about the book. Skipped the middle and went to Mayday Malone and finished with the last two. Don't worry I'll go back and finish the other chapters. I only wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed your humor and reflection. It is apparent that you have found what is beautiful about life, it's experiences of pleasure and pain. I respect your gratitude for God and His hand in our lives. Thank you for sharing with all of us who read and understand. Laura Hi: I just started reading Tim's book and know why it's liked it so much!! First of all, the stabbing... hysterical!! Eugene had it coming to him. Then the beach... OMG !!! Couldn't you just picture it! Well, that's all I got to so far as the day got busy. I look forward to digging in tonight to see what kind of trouble (and it surely does) happen with poor Tim!! Love it, Lisa Lisa J. Ingemi Reference Librarian Dedham Public Library - -
