Peer Sylvester started his career in boardgaming quite early, because his dad needed an opponent in chess. In third grade he wanted to become a professional chess player. Instead he turned out to become a teacher for math and chemistry. An award-winning board-game designer, including titles such as The King is Dead and Let Them Eat Cake, he has written a number of books on the subject. Garen Ewing is an illustrator and comics creator, best know as the writer and artist of the The Rainbow Orchid series of graphic novels. A two-time nominee for the National Comic award, he was the winner of 2013 Young People’s Comic Award at the British Comic Awards. He has collaberated with Philip Pullman, amongst others, and had his work featured on a stamp in 2011.
