About the Author

Carl Hester was brought up on Sark in the Channel Islands. He is one of Great Britain's most successful dressage riders, and his exceptional career was crowned by Gold Medal triumph at the London 2012 Olympic Games. She is the author of four equestrian books, including one written with Carl. She achieved a First, thanks to being able to string three words together, but couldn't shake off the writing bug. Bernadette lives in Hampshire with her husband Richard, a retired Army officer, and their Labrador dog Lenny.
