About the Author

Brian Michael Good an Author - Writer - Entrepreneur - Genius - Autistic - Empath - Savant. Author website: www.BrianMichaelGood.com I have lived a life buffeted by character-altering hurricanes. My life storms began in my trauma-filled childhood within my dysfunctional family. My childhood was filled with tension, excessive discipline, and yelling - at home and at grammar school - contributed to a lower self-esteem and academic performance during my formative developmental years. Yelling and corporal punishment instilled fear in me. I carried such sentiments and emotional trauma with me into adulthood. I accepted the abuse that I allowed others to bestow on me. It took me a lifetime to discover that I was a Genius, Autistic, Empath, and Savant. I survived a childhood of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse; dealt with depression, PTSD, the death of two siblings. A bit further on in life, there was the stigma of being homeless not once, but three times, and bankruptcy two times. I was also diagnosed with a six-pound cancerous tumor that was doubling in size every two months. A suicide attempt in 2003 nearly cost me my life. The death of my best friend, three divorces, and the rejection of my only daughter was to follow, Psychics and people of faith say that we all come back, and some of us come back to teach a lesson. The homeless person on the street has sacrificed their life to teach compassion and tolerance to others. The homeless person, if he or she would know this, might ask, why should I try to improve my life if I came back to suffer to teach this lesson? The answer is that if one is spiritual, the suffering is only part of the lesson. The most important part is to overcome. We must examine our flaws and try to fix them. Then, in the next chapter of our life, we come back to a better existence. How can one man encounter so many hurricanes, survive them, learn from them, and then strive to make the world around him a better place? This was the question Brian asked himself that led to this book. I have a deep sense of compassion and empathy for others; social virtues that I value most in my life. What I have learned from my personal experiences can give you hope. You are not alone and you are not forgotten. Your life will improve. Peace and happiness are reserved for those who seek it. A book is food for thought... By reading a well written book you will reap pearls of wisdom and have a lifetime of meals. Reviews

5.0 out of 5.0 stars By TechLevel33 Capstone* on March 21, 2015 "Excellent book! I found the book "Never Surrender Your Soul" by Brian Michael Good to be full of positive encouragements to live this present life in preparation for the next life or as Brian calls it, "the afterlife." Not an easy subject to address or understand. However, the author made it intuitive to comprehend. I found it interesting how the author related the various facets of the "next life" to choices we make in this "present life"---with direct connection to the potential survival or judgment of the Soul in the afterlife. How this book managed to bridge the gap between life's trials and sustaining a positive outlook even in the face of multiple adversities in this life indicates the personal touch the author provides. The experiences shared assist readers facing similar challenges or even greater hardships in their lives are exceptional and a value-add that is required to achieve success in this life. The author allows for the reader to face life with confidence, faith in a successful outcome, and yes, with hope that transcends carnal knowledge if you only believe. The book also encourages the reader to have hope; that includes having faith and belief in a positive conclusion to turn potential despair into an optimistic outcome. Further, the book inspires the reader to run this race we call life with self-assurance, gratitude, and maintaining a positive mental attitude. I equally found the book's approach to understanding the different religious cultures, practices, and belief systems to be well researched and approached with care. The author provides the reader with a clear direct approach to spirituality as viewed from the author's perspective. In addition, the book also provides the reader with understanding the potential consequences for the lack of spirituality in our lives and the influence of the choices we make each and every day to encourage living a happy and fulfilled life. I would personally recommend this book to anyone that has experienced or currently experiencing life challenges, desiring a new approach to address personal issues, or simply looking for encouragement in the times in which we live---all from the Author's perspective with a personal touch of overcoming life's struggles and challenges to achieve success as a living witness which says in my opinion---he made it through...so can you! Never Surrender You Soul says it all. Finally, we all have been given freedom of choice by our divine creator, yet, we do not retain freedom to choose the "consequences" of the choices we make and/or the actions we take or do not take---in consideration of your Soul's life journey in the present as well as preparation for the potential life in the after-world---the book makes it plain that the choice is yours and yours alone to make...choose wisely---a must read!" 5.0 out of 5.0 stars By Alyssa Husk on June 20, 2015 "I have been on a spiritual journey to find inner peace. The title of this book caught my eye and I am so glad that I took the time to pick it up. One of the things that stuck out to me in the book is the fact that the author reminds us that we should be constantly re-evaluating ourselves. Also he reminded us that in comparison to the entire universe we are less than a grain of sand. This is something important to constantly keep in mind because it will allow you to also see your problems as small. This perspective will allow you to have more peace as well. Life is all about your attitude and the way that you look at things. This perspective and attitude starts with your spirit. If you are on a journey of better understanding and on a search for peace, this is a great book for you!"
