About the Author

Alvin N. Eden, M.D., F.A.A.P., is a clinical professor of Pediatrics at Weill-Cornell College of Cornell University, New York, NY, and chairman Emeritus ay Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. A practicing pediatrician for over 40 years, Dr. Eden has contributed numerous articles to the medical literature and is the author of Growing Up Thin, Handbook for New Parents, Positive Parenting and Fit from the Start- How to Prevent Childhood Obesity in Infancy. Sari Greaves, RDN, is an expert nutrition consultant and former national spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. She is a leading nutrition expert in women's health, weight management, wellness and disease prevention, as well as co-author of The Cardiac Recovery Cookbook. As the Nutrition Director at Step Ahead Wellness Center in Far Hills, New Jersey, Sari provides personalized nutrition counseling to men and women seeking weight loss and healthy lifestyle modification.
