Dominique Perrault is an architect and urban planner, an engaged
actor in contemporary architecture. Professor at the Ecole
polytechnique de Lausanne, lecturer and member of the Academie des
Beaux Arts since 2015, he has many large-scale
projects to his credit that have established his international
reputation. Architect of the Bibliotheque nationale de France,
the
Velodrome and the Olympic swimming pool in Berlin, and the
extension of the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, he
recently renovated the Dufour Pavilion at the Chateau de
Versailles.
Philippe Belaval is a French senior official, president of the
Centre des monuments nationaux since 2012. Holder of a master's in
public law, a graduate of the Institut d'etudes politiques de
Toulouse, alumnus of the Institut des hautes etudes de defense
nationale and general director of the Opera de Paris, he has been a
member of the Conseil d'Etat since 1979.
