Bernard Cahier was the most well-known Formula 1 photojournalist. He was one of the founders of the International Racing Press Association, which formalized and organized media coverage of the sport. His photography has been used in many photo essays, including Bernard Cahier: F-Stops, Pit Stops, Laughter and Tears and Formula 1: 1950-Today. Paul-Henri Cahier is the son of Bernard Cahier and a Formula 1 photojournalist. He is a coauthor of Formula 1 2004: Photographic Season Review.
