Reviews

'From time to time a book or series of books emerges which is destined to become a classic. Andrew Ashbee in his Records of English Court Music has produced such a series.' The Consort 'It is difficult to imagine an individual or institution with serious pretensions to the scholarship of English music of this period who can be without this series.'
