Breadth and depth of the duties, knowledge, skills and behaviours required of the professional Marine Surveyor are well covered. With this as a core reference and, with some additional work on the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency Codes of Practice for Workboats and other Small Commercial Vessels, UK surveyors will be well-informed for the planning and successful undertaking of their work. I commend Reeds Marine Surveying to all trainee and practising Marine Surveyors. -- Alan Cartwright BSc MA CEng FIMarEST FIMechE - Chair, IMarEST Small Ships Group
