About the Author

'Relative Strangers: A Mother's Adoption Memoir', inspired by the birth of her baby boy in 1970, is Pip Murdoch's first published book. She grew up in Gore, New Zealand, and graduated as a nurse in the early seventies. She has worked in a variety of health-related positions. She and her husband raised her now adult children in Wellington, a city she has called home for most of her life.
