Elizabeth Singer Hunt is originally from New Orleans and now lives in San Francisco. She moved to the UK in 1999 for an MA in Southeast Asian studies and then worked in brand marketing. Inspired by her love of travel and the birth of her son, she created the Jack Stalwart series. The series has been selected by Britain's education secretary as well as the popular Richard and Judy Children's Book Club for its ability to appeal to and enthrall younger boy readers.
VOYA (Voice of Youth Advocates), February 2012 "Each book in the series is a quick read with plenty of action and, most importantly, lots of information about history...Nonetheless, the educational purpose of the books does not take too much away from Jack's adventures...Best of all, throughout the series, the young characters come out on top, which is always fun to read."
