This book is essential, and indeed long overdue. Provides a concise overview of the effects and some experiences sexual minorities face in sports.... Sartore-Baldwin is successful in creating a text that is easily accessible yet challenges the evolving notions of sexual minorities in sports. I would strongly recommend this edited volume for scholars studying gender and sexuality in sport. An excellent introduction to the intersections of sexuality, gender, and sport.
