The book is a great guide to DIY and interior design for the DIY
and interior-design illiterate (i.e. me)...it's fun, practical and
friendly - much like Solomon herself. I couldn't believe I was
reading about renting a Sandy the Sander sanding machine and
thinking: 'Well, maybe,' marvelling at her ability to create panda
doorknobs and thanking Stacey for teaching me what a Rawlplug
does.
