Rebekka Hart writes romantic, mythic fantasy set in future worlds. She lives and works on Ngunnawal land in Canberra, Australia, with her artist husband, two small children, a cat named Artemis, and three surprisingly long-lived goldfish. She holds a BA (Hons) in Literature, along with a postgraduate teaching degree. She enjoys drinking more coffee than is strictly necessary and reading books with magic in them.
'Hart's debut novel is immersive and artfully rendered with
clever dialogue and masterful prose ... She deftly weaves mythology
and history into a rich tapestry of cultures, each with their own
idiosyncrasies, customs, and beliefs ... A sparkling first novel of
self-discovery by a skilled author.' - Kirkus Reviews (starred

'Ah, a treasure. You know when you find a treasure: the writing is
effortless and beautiful, the characters draw you in, and the story
ensnares your mind. And when the book is finished, you wish you
could keep reading; you can't stop thinking about the questions you
still have, the twists that the end of the book hinted at, and what
the characters might do next. You wait anxiously for the sequel.
You follow the author so as not to miss it. A treasure. Thank you
R.K. Hart; you were made to write.' - Goodreads Review
