About the Author

Author George White is a retired United Methodist pastor who grew up on a dairy farm in Davis County, Iowa. He served churches in eastern Iowa, including Coralville, Cedar Rapids, Mt Pleasant and Davenport. Although an Iowa State graduate, White spent 39 years in Hawkeye country. He and his wife Martha live in Davenport and have three daughters, eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. His previous books include Grubbing Hoes, Bible and Gavels and The Ripple Factory.
