About the Author

HELEN NICHOLL was born and brought up in Cape Town, South Africa. Moving to London in 1970, she embraced Hippydom and worked and travelled in England, Northern Ireland and - for 18 years -Zimbabwe. Helen returned to Belfast in 2000, and was the co-manager of War on Want Bookshop in Belfast before her recent retirement. Happily divorced with one cat, she still travels at every opportunity.
