About the Author

Peter Wild, professor of English at the University of Arizona, is one of the foremost poets of the American West and is widely known as an expert in the literature and aesthetics of the Southwest. A journalist, backpacker, and avid conservationist, Wild has contributed to Smithsonian, Sierra, and the New York Times Book Review.
