"A first, wonderful novel by Antonio Jimenez Barca. An absorbent, richly written story that offers insight, through analogy and pertinent repetition, into the unending depths of the human soul." -Lluis Satorras, El Pais, Babelia; "Its reflective moments offer eloquence, even in the well-trodden territory of teenage love triangles and coming-of-age tales."-Kirkus Reviews
