If you're not a fan of the original orchestral-rockers, you might wonder about the point of releasing yet another Moody Blues live disc with many of the same songs heard in other versions on previous albums. But hardcore Moody-heads won't worry about such matters--they'll simply delight at the opportunity to hear their heroes tackle a mixture of classics from their Mellotron-mania days ("Tuesday Afternoon," Legend of a Mind," and of course, the chestnut par excellence "Nights in White Satin").
The more recent material such as "Isn't Life Strange," and "Your Wildest Dreams" has proven the group to have a far longer shelf life than might have previously been expected. Assistance from the World Festival Orchestra adds to the proceedings' grandiose symphonic sweep.
