After garnering attention for original-material-heavy mixtapes, EPs, and performance guest spots, indie rock/electro band Joywave hit the top of the U.S. alternative songs chart with the Big Data collaboration "Dangerous" in 2014. Their full-length debut, How Do You Feel Now?, adds seven tracks to the four on their 2014 How Do You Feel? EP. With melodic vocals by Daniel Armbruster, '80s synth pop vibes, a (usually) real rhythm section, and lots of distortion, the highly danceable, occasionally ambient album was released on their own Cultco Music label, an imprint of Hollywood Records, in the spring of 2015. ~ Marcy Donelson
