The debut full-length album from vocalist Bea Miller, 2015's Not an Apology is an exuberant collection of infectious, dance-rock-heavy songs. As a contestant on the second season of Fox's The X Factor, Miller impressed the judges with her big, resonant vocals and confident attitude. Thankfully, she was able to translate her outsized personality and passion into this album. Featuring production from the Suspex, Mike Del Rio, Matt Squire, and others, Not an Apology mixes high-energy propulsive cuts like the dynamic anthem "Fire N Gold" with more intimate and heartfelt acoustic tracks, including the poignantly romantic "Force of Nature."
