This 2012 budget-line disc rounds up duets from Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, primarily relying on hits they had during the outlaw gold rush of the '70s -- including a couple cuts that are nominally by either Waylon or Willie alone -- but extending all the way to 1991 so it can include a few cuts by the Highwaymen. It's a touch uneven but it has plenty of good songs -- including "Luckenbach, Texas (Back to the Basics of Love)," "Good Hearted Woman," "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys," "I Can Get Off on You," and "Just to Satisfy You" -- which is enough to make it worth its price. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
