Performer Notes
  • Audio Mixer: Joel Chin.
  • Editors: Joel Chin; Paul Shields.
  • The 33rd volume of the reggae hits chronicle kicks off with Elephant Man's infectious 2005 international hit "Willie Bounce," which uses its "Nothing Going on But the Rent" vocal sample to good effect, while Lef Side & Esco and Buju Banton both get mileage out of the popular "Tuck In U Belly" track. Bounty Killer's "Sleng Teng Resurrection" succeeds in reviving that legendary rhythm, Sizzla's breathless anti-gun anthem "Run Out Pon Dem" combines social comment and an irresistible dance track, and his ex-disciple Turbulence puts in a creditable party-mashing performance on "Notorious." Kicking reggae sounds uphold this series' tradition of stellar dance hall entertainment.
