Mystical, nature-inspired, folk-rock troubadour Trevor Hall offers up Unpack Your Memories., a highly introspective, self-recorded EP containing five songs he considered too intimate and personal to include on previous albums. A mix of acoustic guitar and sampled instrumentation, Hall's world music influences remain readily apparent on the raga-like drone of the title cut, the meditative rhythms of the Indian-inspired "Jayrambati," and the dancehall-style vocal delivery of "Under Pressure." The EP is the follow-up to his successful 2014 album, Chapter of the Forest, which reached number two on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts. ~ Timothy Monger
